Automated Quality Checks
The Vcodes QC module performs fully automated content verification checks as part of the transcoding workflows.
Automated QC drastically reduces the need for human operators to check video and audio content in dedicated QC stations. Contrary to dedicated standalone QC systems, the Vcodes QC is not only fully integrated in the transcoding workflow and was designed to output only the most relevant information without bombarding the user with tons of useless reports. The QC Player allows the user to interactively act on the found QC issues, deciding whether their severity justified rejecting the content or not.
QC Checks That Matter The Most
Listening to our customers, we designed the QC module with only those checks that matter to them the most, enabling accurately setting thresholds for Warnings and Errors.

Industry Standard Video Quality Metrics
The QC module performs quality comparison between source and output video to check using the most modern quality metrics available in the video industry today. This enables quickly spotting encoding problems that are hard to detect when doing manual QC. It also serves as an invaluable tool in optimizing encoding presets for bandwidth restricted scenarios.
Interactive QC Player
The QC Player allows the user to interactively review the found issues in video/audio. Simply double clicking an issue in the issues list will jump to the relevant timecode and play the video. The user can then decide whether to reject or accept the video, add comments and move on to the next video.
